  1. Minesweeper
  2.  
  3. Minesweeper is a fast paced puzzle 
  4. game. A field of squares is laid out 
  5. before you. Beneath a set number of 
  6. these squares lies a land mine. Your 
  7. task is to mark off these mines and 
  8. prevent them from detonating. You can 
  9. accomplish this by uncovering select
  10. squares. If no mine lies beneath it, 
  11. then a number appears. This is the 
  12. number of mines (from 1 to 8) surr-
  13. ounding that square. If no mines lies 
  14. around it, then those eight squares 
  15. are automatically uncovered. If a 
  16. mine lies beneath the uncovered square, 
  17. then it detonates and the game is over. 
  18. You must mark each square in which 
  19. you believe a mine lies with a flag. 
  20.  
  21. The object of the game is to mark each 
  22. mine on the field with a flag in the 
  23. shortest time possible.
